Project Description
The project consists of the demolition, clean up and raising of the 90 acre former Exxon mobile site in Bayonne. Known as one of the most contaminated sites in Bayonne and arguably the state, the site presents many challenges and obstacles. Pillari has continued to work along side the sites LSRP and environmental remediation team to remove several former tank pads, pipe networks, and building foundations to allow for the importation and placement of over 300,000 CY of alternative and clean fill to raise the site to its future development elevations. A stormwater management system was designed, built and maintained through out the many stages of the project. Our team continues to work with the developer and engineering team to adjust and redesign the future plans to help bring this site back to its glory.
