Project Description
The project consisted of demolition of concrete, processing and hauling over 300,000 CY on site recycled concrete to level the site for a future 350K SF building pad. Pillari worked hand in hand with several other contractors for the installation of multiple ground improvement procedures (Deep Soil Mixing, Rigid Inclusions, and Dynamic Compaction) as well as several thousand square feet of retaining wall to create firm and stable ground for the future development to stand. In addition to the large earthwork undertaking, Pillari’s pipe crews installed (4) large scale ADS detention system totaling 7,600 LF 60” HDPE pipe. Along with outlet control structures, (6) precast Hydro Up-Flow water quality units, and thousands of feet of additional pipe and storm structures. 1,700 LF of sanitary sewer and water mains were also run down Hyatt Ave to provide utilities for the future building.
